Henrietta
Favourable weather conditions during the 2008 harvest produced concentrated flavours in the Franschhoek-grown semillon, which makes up 70% of this semillon-sauvignon blend. The wine was barrel fermented and matured for 7 months in French oak prior to bottling. A total of 2,700 bottles were made and with such a small quantity of wine, Rikus was able to bring his own charisma and enthusiasm to every bottle.

Shiraz
Only 4 tonnes of grapes will be harvested for our Shiraz. About 70% of the wine will spend time in new oak barrels of which 85% will be in French oak and the rest American oak. The 30% older barrels will give that perfect balance that we are looking for. |
